Irinox collaborates with leading supervision bodies such as TUV and UL to guarantee this conformity. The company’s quality system is governed by the requirements of the UNI EN ISO 9001 standard and the UNI EN ISO 14001 standard with regard to environmental management.
All IRINOX products conform to the EN 60529 and EN 62262 standards, which define a classification system of the degrees of protection for electrical enclosures against the intrusion of solid bodies, liquids and external mechanical impacts. Moreover, they conform to the CEI EN 62208 standard regarding empty enclosures for assembled protection and manoeuvre devices for low voltage.

UL CERTIFICATION, C-UL-US AND C-UR-US MARK
The C-UL-US mark denotes a product’s conformity to both Canadian and United States requirements. The C-UR-US mark guarantees conformity to Canadian and United States requirements for UL-certified product components. The main Irinox products are UL-certified (Nema 1, 12, 4, 4X).
IP PROTECTION RATING
The IP protection rating is an international standard that classifies an appliance’s level of protection against contact with solid or liquid foreign bodies. The main Irinox products all have an IP66 / IP69K protection rating. / CEI EN 60529
Irinox products comply with the directive on equipment used in potentially explosive areas. The acronym derives from the words ATmosphères and EXplosibles. / Directive 2014/34/EU (ATEX)
The IK impact resistance rating is an international numerical rating that specifies the degree of protection of casings against external mechanical impacts. The main Irinox products have an IK08 / IK10 impact resistance rating. / CEI EN 62262
The CE mark indicates conformity to all the obligations that manufacturers (or importers) must fulfil with regard to their products (or those introduced on the market under their responsibility) by way of the European directives. Products bearing this mark can be freely commercialised within the European market.
